I Don't Want To Wait
I wanted to post these pictures on my last entry, but I conveniently left my camera at my sister Rachael's house. So here are some fun baby pics from this month.
I like the splash on this one. Yes, he is still getting bathed in the sink. It's my favorite thing.
He actually looks like a Nolan here!
He looks so concerned!
I really like the way this picture turned out. It shows his happy personality!
Here are some pictures of my crochet-fest. This is me wearing the scarf. It's a little bulky, but it turned out pretty nice for a one-nighter!
And here are some close-ups of the scarf. I like the way the pattern casts shadows.
P.S. I took Benji to the pediatrician for his 9-month check-up today. He weighs almost 24 lbs, he's 29" tall, and he's in the 95th percentile for weight and head circumference, and in about the 75th for height. Sounds about right, eh? He was fine until I laid him down on the table to undress him. When he looked at the ceiling, he started crying. He knew what was coming, and the last time he was there was 3 months ago! He's so smart!

24 LBS!!! My kids don't weigh 24 pounds until they are 18 months old.
What a big guy.
I like your scarf. Crocheting is one of those crafty things that I don't really enjoy. I think I want to try and learn to knit. I hear its significantly different than crocheting. Once my kids start spending large amounts of time at various activites, then I'll have something portable to work on while I wait.
We knew he was a little tank!!! (We'll see how my own not-so-little tank is doing next Monday!)
(Darling pictures by the way - he's such a cutie!)
I love all the picture updates! It's so fun seeing your little guy growing up and smiling :)
beautiful scarf and beautiful baby!
He is just so cute!!! The scarf is really very attractive too. I did a lot of crocheting back in the day, actually until I had John. I could blockade all of us in the living room and keep my hands busy while all you girls were busy, good times. You are more like your Mom than you even want to know. (I stayed up late on projects from time to time but the more children you have the more precious sleep becomes!)
WHat super cute pics of Benji! Love it! And your scarf turned out beautiful! I definitely know how it is to work all night on a crocheting project you wonder if it's worth it. (: You did a great job!
