Walk Like An Egyptian
Here are some more pictures of my cute new niece Tessa.
I love new baby yawns!

Hopes for the future
I don't know exactly how I did this, but I love the lighting. This is the best picture of Tessa I have taken so far.

A New Day Has Come
Sorry about that last entry. I was in a particularly toxic mood when I wrote it. For those of you keeping score at home, I have restarted taking Zoloft. Being drug-free just isn't worth the crazy mood swings anymore.
Here are the pictures that should have shown up on the previous post.
Baby Burrito
I'm not too sure about this whole 'outside the womb' business
Such a sweet little face!
Taking A Cell Picture
I'm a new big sister? No way!
Mach Looking Fabulous With N.B.
The Niusulu Family
Meeting Cousin Noah
The obligatory picture of my handsome little man
Her name is officially Tessa Grace. She's beautiful and so sweet. We love her!

It's Too Late To Apologize
I'm sorry if you can't see the pictures on my last entry. I could see them on my laptop, but apparently no one else can. I'll try to fix it tomorrow (or when I get the laptop back, since I loaned it to Rachael). It's certainly not the only thing I have screwed up on lately, and I'm sure it won't be the last. Sometimes I'm the biggest freaking idiot I know, and I wonder how (or why) people put up with me.

Welcome, Little One!
Here are some pictures of my new niece! After a fast and furious delivery, she is here and healthy, and a couple of days early. She weighs 10 lbs exactly and was 20 inches. I don't dare post a name, though she's probably Tessa. We'll see.
About an hour old . . .

This one is kinda cool--you can see her picture on the cell phone!
So tiny for a 10-pounder!
TONS of hair!
She is such a little sweetie. We were so inundated with new babies for a while there that I think we all forgot how sweet and soft the tiny ones are. She is beautiful, and she looks pretty much exactly like Lily. This is a picture of Lily on the day she was born:
No wonder they called her "Lily Jr." for so long! There will be no doubt that they are sisters! Congratulations, babe!

I wanted to share some cute pictures taken by my friend Lynette. She isn't professional (she's a fantastic nurse), but she did a very good job. I think this one is my favorite.
We just went to the Bountiful Temple last Sunday evening. The lighting was perfect (she never really used a flash) and baby was fairly compliant, although most of our time was spent trying to make him smile. It didn't always work.
He liked looking at his daddy, though!
I really like the angle on this one. I think I'll put it on my wall.
There are more in my Picasa album. I'm much happier with these than with the only family shot I got from Amber at our last shoot. I'll go to Amber again for pics of the little man, but not for the family. It is about time for Halloween pictures. I still don't know what he should be! Suggestions?
By the way, Mrs. X came downstairs to apologize. I really appreciated that she admitted she was at fault for letting Benji fall. I told her I understand, but I didn't say that I'd be comfortable with her watching him anymore. She did ask me how many days per week I could watch Becca, and I said one. I think that will be okay (it's way better than four, and whatever her reasons, I hope she'll be grateful enough for one day that she won't space it off). She even offered to pre-pay. I'm okay with that. She did say that this is her 'last chance' with the Navy Reserve: if she doesn't lose 20 lbs this month, they are kicking her out. That's a lot of stress, but it just might be good for her, too. I don't wish her ill; I hope she gains some perspective.
