My First Attempt At Blogging . . .

Well, well . . . I figured I'd have to get around to this eventually, and since my little man is only days from making his debut, now is as good a time as any. For those of you who didn't know (and it's a little depressing how many people think I'm just getting really fat), I am pregnant. I'm 36 weeks along now, and that in and of itself is a miracle. I have gestational diabetes, which basically means that baby is going to be big. I'm sure he's more than 7 lbs already (since I'm measuring 40cm and I'm already dilated to 3cm). Thankfully my OB is going to induce me early--on February 14th--unless baby decides to come before then. So he won't be a leap-year baby (my official due date), but he may be my little Valentine.
