Long Time, No Blog
It hasn't been that long, but I guess I should write something to keep you all coming back, right? Well, things are going splendidly, except for the whole lack-of-sleep thing (details, details). Benji will be one month old on Friday--crazy! I'll take him in for his Hep B vaccination shot and see how much he weighs--he's got to be over 8 pounds by now. He's still my little peanut baby, but he's definitely getting bigger. He has a little double chin that is so cute, I just can't even stand it.
He did pretty good sleeping last night; he spent most of the time in his bouncy chair. I wonder if he might have a bit of reflux, because he's not particularly fond of sleeping flat on his back. On verra.
We went to Ikea yesterday. Oh, how I love that store! I seriously bought five rugs (okay, one was a doormat). I'm not exactly sure what I'll do with them all, but I feel good knowing we will protect the carpet. Benji is a pretty good little shopper . . . when his belly is full and his diaper is clean.
As thrilled as you all are to hear of my baby's adventures, I would like to comment on the presidential race. I'm so over it. I really wish I could go for an entire day without hearing the words "Obama" or "Clinton." It has become so mean and overblown, and j'en ai marre. Seriously--can we move on the something more important, like March Madness, or the return of Grey's Anatomy?
